Last week I had the opportunity to help my friend Dewey out as a second shooter for a wedding he was doing at the The Liberty Theater in Puyallup. You may remember Dewey from when a group of us photographers got together to have some fun in the International District of Seattle back in May of this year. In addition to doing his own thing, Dewey’s also the staff photographer at The Liberty Theater on the side and handles the photography for all of their weddings. It’s a great full service location for weddings and they also do corporate functions and special events. It’s also received some attention from The Knot as one of the 2008 picks for Best in Weddings. So, if you’re looking for a place to get married south of Seattle but not too far from Tacoma, be sure to check it out.
Anyway, Briana and Josh are a very cute young couple and I hope that their life together and love for each other continue to grow every day. I hope they don’t mind but I selected a few photos that I took of them prior to the ceremony and decided to just play around with some of my post processing. I’ll reserve the photos of the ceremony and reception for another time but for now, bear with me as I attempt to have a little creative fun with how I treated a few of these images. Do you like them? Let me know what you think.

Those are really outstanding photos. I especially like the one with the couple in front of the Liberty Theater and the aged look you put on it.
I see you have a link to Me Ra Koh – once upon a time I knew them. They’re a neat couple.
Thanks for the comment, Jason. I really appreciate it.
Boy small world, huh? Yes, Me Ra and Brian are certainly a neat couple.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hi Jenny,
Beautiful job on applying some new actions! Aren’t they fun to play with?
I too favor the shot of the couple walking toward the Liberty Theatre. It’s a great shot to begin with, and the actions you applied enhanced the ‘old time’ feel.
Nicely done.
Best,
Pamela
Hi Jenny,
It’s the bride. Those pictures are amazing! I haven’t seen any yet so I’m very happy. I just wanted to say that you and Dewey did an excellent job and I can’t wait to see the rest.
